Times Union, Albany NY, September 2, 1993: Florence G. Loesch, 97, of Saint Mary’s Woodland Village, formerly of Averill Park, died August 2. Mrs. Barnum was born in Sand Lake and lived in Averill Park for many years. She was the widow of William H. Barnum. Survivors include a son, Lawrence Barnum of Poughkeepsie and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. (She was born 8/2/1896 according to SSDI.)
