Notes for Hildagail BARNUM
From the Connellsville Daily Courier, Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Monday, April 4, 1960: Mrs. Hildagail Barnum Sparks, 61, of Indian Head, Pa., died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her home (April 3, 1960). She was born at California, Pennsylvania on November 22, 1898, a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Sarah Jane Anderson Barnum and had lived at Indian Head since 1922. Surviving are her husband, Edward R. (Raymond) Sparks, postmaster at Indian Head; two daughters, Miss Sarah Jane Sparks of New York City and Mrs. Llewellyn (Ann S.) Bell of Columbus, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Alexander of Meadville and two grandchildren.
Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery.
