Notes for Linda Waite DAVIDSON

From the Otsego Farmer, Cooperstown, New York, Thursday, November 10, 1966: Mrs. Linda Beattie, aged 93, of Cooperstown died at the Clark Nursing Home in Richfield Springs on Thursday, November 3, following a brief illness. Mrs. Beattie was born October 4, 1873, at Cooperstown, the daughter of Andrew and Altana (Barnum) Davidson. She was married to William Beattie on June 7, 1904, at Cooperstown. He died September 8, 1942. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cooperstown and Otsego Chapter, DAR of Cooperstown. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. on Monday, November 7, in Cooperstown, with the Rev. Richard P. Weld, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Cooperstown officiating. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery, Cooperstown.
