From the Lake County Telegraph, Painesville, Ohio, Tuesday, December 28, 1982: Mildred H. Barnum, 66, of Madison Road, died Monday morning at Geauga Community Hospital, Chardon, following a lengthy illness. Born Feb. 26, 1916, she operated Millie Barnum's Ceramics for 29 years in Thompson. She was a member of the Northeast Ohio Holiday Ramblers Club and the Good Sam Camping Club. She is survived by her husband Everett; daughter, Kathy Susman of Montville; a sister, Boots Woodruff of Arizona, and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be at the Montville Cemetery.
