From the Star Beacon (Ashtabula, OH) - February 23, 2008: Josephine J. "Jo" Barnum, age 96, of Geneva, Ohio, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at her sister's home in Geneva. Born, January 10, 1912, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann (Musal) Schultz. Survivors include her sister, Sophia Payne, of Geneva; brother, Frank Schultz of Geneva; niece, Diane Whitsitt, of Madison; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harland; her parents; two brothers, Edward and William; and two sisters, Helen Kasper and Lucille Getzy. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, Ohio.
