From the Eugene Register-Guard, (Eugene, Oregon), Sunday, May 4, 1947: Milford Lee Barnum, 60, Pleasant Hill, Oregon died at his home Saturday, May 3. He was born January 28, 1887 at Neligh, Nebraska and married Laura M. Van Marte at Portland March 29, 1913. He was a member of the Christian Church at Pleasant Hill and lived in that community the past 20 years. Surviving are his widow, a son, Erwin, Eugene; two daughters, Nancy Remsburg, San Mateo, California and Marie Fisch, Priest River, Idaho; 2 grandchildren and a brother, Heber of Oakridge.
