Notes for Helen CARSON

From the Ocala Star-Banner, June 7 to June 8, 2015: Helen C. Barnum passed away on May 31, 2015 at the age of 93.
Helen was born in Utica, NY on September 19, 1921 to the late George Carson and Elva Meyers. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Douglas H. Barnum, and her brother Charles Carson.
Prior to her retirement, Helen worked as a clerk at Griffiss AFB in Rome, NY. Helen and Doug moved from Utica to Ocala in December 1979. She enjoyed playing golf and bowling.
She is survived by her three sons, Douglas C of Ocala, Darryl of Advance, NC, and David of Matawan, NJ. She has 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial will be held for her at her house on her birthday, Saturday, September 19th.
