Notes for Dolly Mae BARNUM
From the Youngstown Vindicator, Ohio, Monday, January 30, 1967: Mrs. Dolly Barnum Nutt, 79, formerly of Saranac Avenue, retired clerk of the Mahoning County Board of Elections died at 3 PM Sunday in the Volney Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Nutt was born July 7, 1887 in Beaver Falls, Pa., a daughter of William P. Barnum and Nannie Knowlton Barnum. She attended Beaver Falls College and came to Youngstown in 1917. For 25 years she was a deputy at the Board of Elections retiring in 1955.
Her husband, George Nutt died in 1963. A son, Atty. J. Richard Andrews died in 1964 and a brother, Atty. William P. Barnum died in 1961.
Mrs. Nutt leaves a daughter, Mrs. C. Edwin Lovell of Poland, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held in the church chapel. There are no calling hours.
