Notes for Elizabeth BARNUM

From the Putnam County Courier, Carmel, N.Y., Wednesday, December 27, 1971: Mrs. Elizabeth B. Storm, 87, of Rte. 6 Brewster, widow of Fred W. Storm, died December 15 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She was born in Brewster, N.Y. on October 23, 1884, the daughter of the late L. Starr and Mary E. Barnum. Mrs. Storm attended schools in Brewster and the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. A lifetime Brewster resident, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She leaves a son, Fred W. of Tarrytown, a daughter, Mrs. J. M. (Ruth) Lodge of Beacon, a brother, Warren Barnum of Youngstown, Ohio, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were at the Beecher Funeral Home, Brewster with the Rev. John Davies of the Brewster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Milltown Rural Cemetery, Brewster.
