From the Utica Daily Press, Utica, NY, July 28, 1914: Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Barnum have the sympathy of their many friends in the death of their three month old son, Paul who died Saturday (July 26) morning. The funeral was held yesterday.

From the Lowville Journal Republican, Lowville, NY, July 30, 1914: Mrs. Robert T. Kelly and little daughter left for Ilion, Saturday to attend the funeral of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Barnum. Mrs. Barnum, who is a sister of Mrs. Kelly, was formerly Miss Belle K. Virkler of this place.
