Sir Roger Fiennes, Sheriff of Surrey & Sussex, Constable of Porchester, was christened on 14 September 1384 at Herstmonceaux, Sussex, England; born there on the same date. Age 21 in 1406. He married Elizabeth Holand, daughter of Sir John Holand and Margaret, before 1422; They had 2 sons (Sir Richard; & Sir Robert) and 1 daughter (Margaret, wife of Sir Nicholas Carew), as well as sons Hugh and James who are unsourced. Sir Roger left a will on 29 October 1449 at Buxted, Sussex, England; Requested burial at Herstmonceux, Sussex. His estate was probated on 18 November 1449.
