Notes for Tryphena Matilda BARNUM
She has been found as Tryphena Barnum and Triphena Barnum.
There are two recorded marriages for a 'Matilda' Barnum. One to Denison Cornish, the other to Prosper Shipman. Matilda Cornish Shipman and her presumed parents are buried in Tioga, New York so we presume them to be related.
An autosomal DNA match led to [[Barnum-448|Albert Starr Barnum]], a fifth cousin of Tryphena.
Name Reference: '''Tryphena of Rome''', "a woman who labours in the Lord", is greeted by St Paul in Romans 16:12
